Payment for a lesson must be made no later than 48 hours before the lesson is due to take place.
Lessons can be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge with at least 48 hours' notice. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 48 hours' notice will result in the payment for that lesson being forfeited.
If a learner is late to a lesson, the lesson clock still starts at the originally scheduled time — lesson time is not extended to make up for lateness. Your instructor will wait a maximum of 15 minutes from the scheduled start time before the lesson is treated as a no-show, in which case standard cancellation terms apply.
Learners must hold a valid UK provisional driving licence in order to take lessons. Please have this ready to show your instructor if asked.
Learners must inform their instructor before a lesson if they are taking any medication, or are otherwise affected by anything, that could impact their ability to drive safely.
LaneCraft operates a zero-tolerance policy towards abusive behaviour, swearing, or aggression directed at the instructor. Any breach of this policy is grounds for the instructor to end the lesson early, without refund.
Block bookings (10 hours for £430) are paid for in advance. If your instructor is unable to deliver the remaining hours in a block booking, the value of the unused hours will be refunded to you.
Your instructor will let you know in good time, well ahead of any booked test date, if they feel you are not yet test-ready.
